«Milagros de Nuestra Señora» is the Marian poetry collection by Gonzalo de Berceo, published by Espasa Calpe in paperback (248 pages, in Spanish).
Gonzalo de Berceo brings together twenty-five verse tales about the Virgin Mary and her intercession for devotees and sinners. The texts, written around 1260 in cuaderna vía, combine didactic intent with a close tone. They were meant to be read aloud before pilgrims, and open with an allegorical introduction in praise of the Virgin.
This edition, prepared by Juan Manuel Cacho Blecua, belongs to the Austral Collection (number 103) and includes a glossary.
For readers of medieval poetry and students of Spanish literature.
