«Milú, un perro en desgracia» is the children's novel by Blanca Álvarez, published by Planetalector in paperback (240 pages, in Spanish).
Milú is a mongrel dog who lives with an almost normal family in a neighborhood of 'pretty' dogs where he doesn't quite fit in. When Loles, the maid, tells him he's going to be expelled, Milú reacts by portraying his family with humor and tenderness: from Jara, a small boy fond of home chemistry, to Nuria, a teenager on a diet.
First volume in the Cometa +10 collection, published by Planetalector in 2011; recommended reading from age 9. Includes illustrations by Gabriel Salvadó.
For readers aged 9 and up looking for a children's and young adult novel with humor and a canine view of family life.
