«Mis queridos monstruos» is a children's and young adult play by Fernando Almena, published by Editorial CCS in paperback (72 pages, in Spanish).
The play brings Frankenstein, Dracula and the Wolf Man closer with a humorous look far from terror. Through everyday situations and agile dialogue, the classic monsters become relatable characters who help children laugh at their fears, both in reading and in stage performance.
It is number 6 in the Galería del Unicornio collection, dedicated to children's and young adult theatre. The original edition dates from 1998.
Recommended for children from 8 years old and for getting started in theatre, thanks to the humorous tone and not very intimidating monstrous characters.
