«Miss Seeton persiste et signe» is the mystery novel by Heron Carvic, published by Union générale d'édition in paperback (255 pages, in French).
The story follows Miss Seeton, an unconventional investigator who solves crimes in her peculiar style. The mystery novel focuses on her inquiries and the singular character who leads them, within a classic detective line.
This French edition is part of the 10/18 Grands détectives collection, within the Union générale d'édition catalogue.
Heron Carvic was an English actor and writer who provided the voice for Gandalf in the BBC Radio version of The Hobbit, and played Caiaphas the High Priest every time the play cycle The Man Born to Be King was broadcast. He also authored the five original Miss Seeton books featuring retired art teacher Miss Emily D. Seeton, a gentle parody of Agatha Christie's Miss Marple.
