«Modgudur» is the adventure comic by Willy Vandersteen and Martin Lodewijk, published by Standaard Uitgeverij in paperback (32 pages, in Dutch).
Indigo Magiste is searching for the Solferzwam, a fungus that could cure her dying father. When she is slow to return, Johan, the Red Knight, sets out from Weris, near Durbuy, to find her. The clues lead to caves that hide something very different from a cure: a passage to the realm of the dead, where the ferryman Charon awaits him.
Issue 216 of the De Rode Ridder (The Red Knight) comic series, with illustrations by Claus D. Scholtz.
European adventure comic for all ages, aimed at readers who enjoy classic knight sagas.
