«Moi, Malala, je lutte pour l'éducation et je résiste aux talibans» is the autobiography of Malala Yousafzai and Christina Lamb, in paperback.
Malala Yousafzai recounts how she fought to keep going to school when the Taliban controlled the Swat Valley, and how the attack she suffered in 2012 did not silence her but instead gave worldwide prominence to her cause for girls' education. It also portrays her exiled family and parents who encouraged her to demand access to knowledge.
Work originally published as «I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban» in 2012; this French edition from Calmann-Lévy appeared in 2013.
Suitable for young and adult readers interested in memoirs, human rights and education, as well as for reading clubs.

Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani female education activist, and producer of film and television. She is the youngest Nobel Prize laureate in history, receiving the Peace Prize in 2014 at age 17, and is the second Pakistani and the only Pashtun to receive a Nobel Prize. Yousafzai is a human rights advocate for the education of women and children in her native district, Swat, where the Pakistani Taliban had at times banned girls from attending school. Her advocacy has grown into an international movement, and according to former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, she has become Pakistan's "most prominent citizen".
