«Moisés, estigues quiet» is the young adult novel by Lliris Picó Carbonell, published by Edicions del Bullent, S.L. in paperback (160 pages, in Catalan).
Moisés, a fifteen-year-old boy with hyperactivity, narrates his experiences: visits to doctors and psychologists, a diagnosis that labels him, and the phrases of those who ask him to stay still. He talks about his adoption, his crushes, his mistakes, and those who dislike him or love him. He wonders if we are all so different at fifteen.
The novel belongs to the Esplai collection (no. 58) and won the Premi Enric Valor for young adult fiction in 2014.
Recommended for young readers aged 12 and up, interested in diversity, hyperactivity, and self-acceptance.
