«Monsieur Rapide» is the children's book by Roger Hargreaves from the Monsieur Madame series, published by Hachette in paperback (40 pages, in French).
In this story, Monsieur Rapide gets up early, never stops doing things and suggests to his neighbor, who prefers to go slowly, going on a picnic. The contrast between the protagonist's fast pace and his neighbor's calm leads to comic situations, with the short, illustrated style characteristic of the collection.
It belongs to the Monsieur Madame collection, within the original Mr. Men series.
Suitable reading for children aged 3 to 6 who are starting to read in French and for those who want to complete the Monsieur Madame collection.
