«Monzón sobre Bombay» is the young adult novel by Miguel Aranguren, published by Ediciones Palabra in paperback (160 pages, in Spanish).
Isabel travels to Bombay to escape a comfortable but empty life and devote herself to the most disadvantaged in the slums. Her work clashes with misery, the monsoon rain and the hatred between Hindus and Muslims; she must also find an antidote to save Esperanza, an old missionary, and overcome the distrust of those who see her as a stranger.
The work was published in 2007 in the Astor collection of Ediciones Palabra; the cover indicates that this edition is the second.
For young readers aged 14 and over interested in fiction with a humanitarian and religious background.
