«Motivos para matar» is the crime novel by Gianni Biondillo, published by Tropismos in paperback (320 pages, in Spanish).
In Quarto Oggiaro, a Milan suburb, a torrid summer gives way to a long year of homicides. Inspector Ferraro, divorced and alone, ends up as the unwilling protagonist of the investigation, surrounded by a tragicomic mosaic: surreal policemen, builders, drug dealers, smugglers, snobs, philosophers and other city dwellers.
First installment of the Inspector Ferraro series, published in the Negro collection. Original Italian title: «Per cosa si uccide».
For readers of crime and detective fiction looking for a story with humor, colorful characters and a social portrait of the Italian periphery.
