«Mundial 2002» is the humor comic by Francisco Ibáñez featuring Mortadelo and Filemón, published by Ediciones B in paperback (44 pages, in Spanish).
Mortadelo and Filemón, agents of the T.I.A., get caught up in a case related to the 2002 Soccer World Cup. Between matches, national teams and security measures, the pair star in chases and misunderstandings that bring Ibáñez's humor to the field. The comic parodies the atmosphere of the championship and the absurd situations surrounding soccer.
Published in 2002. An installment of the Mortadelo and Filemón series, numbered 162 on the cover.
