«Muros» is the children's novel by Agustín Fernández Paz, published by Ediciones SM in paperback (64 pages, in Spanish).
Helena and Adrián go to school together every day. When a wall rises in the town and separates the neighbors, the two friends end up on opposite sides. Their friendship resists the distance and they will look for a way to communicate across the barrier. A metaphorical tale about the consequences of racism and discrimination.
Volume 151 of the El Barco de Vapor Azul collection, with illustrations by Xan López Domínguez.
For early readers aged 7 to 9, with a story that invites reflection on friendship, racism and overcoming barriers.
