«Musica-cat» is the children's music book written by Núria Roca, published by RBA Molino in 2003, in hardcover (36 pages, in Catalan).
The book brings music closer to children: it proposes singing and dancing, presents instruments and their sounds, explains musical notation and teaches to distinguish happy music from sad. The illustrations invite participation with activities and open questions, where no answer is wrong, so that each child recognizes their artistic tastes.
It is part of the «Infantil Català» collection and the «What is Art?» series; the original title is «Music».
Aimed at children beginning to discover art; useful as a starting point for musical activities at home or in the classroom.
Nuria Roca Granell is a Spanish writer, TV presenter, actress, radio announcer and architect.
