«Mygale» is the crime novel by Thierry Jonquet, published by Editions Gallimard in paperback (158 pages, in French).
The plot begins with an enigma: who is Ève and why does Richard Lafargue, the man who accompanies her at social gatherings, lock her in a room when they return home? The couple seems bound by a past neither confesses; beneath the apparent calm of their villa, hatred and passion intersect until the truth of their relationship is revealed.
The work belongs to the Folio Policier collection and was originally published in 1984.
For readers of psychological thrillers and noir fiction seeking suspense with a dark atmosphere.
