«Nano no estudia» is the children's story by Gabriela Rubio Márquez, published by Mare Nostrum Comunicación in paperback (80 pages, in Spanish).
Nano, a clever boy, refuses to study: he fears books will make his head «fatter» and finds them neither fun nor useful. After the first day of school, he decides not to make an effort, though he keeps reflecting, listening, and living with his sister Nana and his parents. His attitude baffles everyone, but he ends up getting a nice surprise.
The book belongs to the Nano y Nana series. Gabriela Rubio, its author, is a writer and illustrator who combines literary creation with teaching illustration.
Recommended reading for children aged 8 to 9, useful for talking about study habits and the value of learning.
