«Narciso y ecos» is the poetry collection by Juan Vicente Piqueras, published by Planeta in paperback (144 pages, in Spanish).
Starting from the myth of Narcissus, the book reflects on narcissism as one of the great ills of our time. Through a play of reflections and mirages, Piqueras addresses the solitude of those who live projecting themselves onto others and turn those around them into echoes of their own thirst.
Written in Rome, rewritten in Athens and corrected in Algiers between 2007 and 2017, it is number 1 in the Vandalia collection and was published on October 10, 2017.
For readers of contemporary poetry who want a re-reading of the myth of Narcissus.
