«Narraciones de mitos clásicos» is the school adaptation of Ovid's Metamorphoses by Joan Baptista Fortuny Giné, Margalida Capellà Soler and Salvador Martí Raüll, published by Editorial Teide in paperback (224 pages, in Spanish).
It gathers in prose the great Greco-Roman myths following Ovid's account: the creation of the world, the loves and punishments of the gods, and the metamorphoses of heroes and nymphs that give the work its name. The adaptation, coordinated by Margalida Capellà, brings the classical text within reach of young readers without renouncing its narrative richness.
Volume 31 of the Biblioteca Teide collection. First edition published in December 2007. Aimed at secondary education.
Designed for secondary school students approaching classical mythology and Ovid's Metamorphoses for the first time in the classroom.
