«Navegantes del interior» is Pedro Esarte's historical essay on emigration from Baztan and Nafarroa Beherea in paperback (127 pages, in Spanish).
Pedro Esarte documents the population flows that left Baztan and Nafarroa Beherea from the 14th century: their causes, the routes followed and the destinations. The book frames these emigrations in the history of Navarre, with attention to the preserved documentation and the social context of the valleys.
Subtitled «emigración de Baztan y Nafarroa Beherea desde el siglo XIV»; published by Nabarralde in 2009 (1st ed., 1st imp.).
Work aimed at readers interested in the local history of Navarre and in studies on historical migrations.
