«Niebla» is the existential novel by Miguel de Unamuno, published by Alianza Editorial in paperback (231 pages, in Spanish).
The plot follows Augusto Pérez, an indecisive and reflective man who, in his search for love and meaning, begins to doubt the reality of his own life. Unamuno turns the story into a game between author and characters, where reflection on identity, immortality and literary creation seeps into the fiction.
Work originally published in 1914; this 1997 Alianza Editorial edition belongs to the El Libro de Bolsillo collection.
Common reading in Spanish literature courses and a gateway to Unamuno's thought.
