«Night Woman» is the suspense novel by Nancy Price, published by Fontana in paperback (350 pages, in English).
Mary, Randal's wife, leads a double life: in secret she writes the novels that have made her husband a celebrated writer. Resigned to that invisible role, she devotes herself to protecting him and raising their children, but accumulated tensions and household secrets begin to erode a facade that seemed perfect.
The work was originally published in 1992; the Fontana edition is from 1993. The cover cites «Sleeping with the Enemy» as Nancy Price's previous novel.
For suspense readers looking for plots centered on domestic life, couple's secrets and hidden identity.
