Jordi Viassolo, a young intern, gets a temporary job at a detective agency in Barcelona. His initial mission is simple: keep the office open during the summer. However, everything changes when a desperate client seeks help to find his missing wife. What begins as a routine investigation becomes complicated, forcing Viassolo to face the reality of the street and apply his theoretical knowledge in practice. Eduard Palomares uses the noir genre to portray a contemporary Barcelona, marked by precarious employment, high rents, and mass tourism. A novel that combines elements of mystery with incisive social criticism, offering a fresh and direct look at life in the city.
