«No era el único Noé» is the illustrated children's picture book by Magolo Cárdenas and Ricardo Peláez, published by RBA Molino in hardcover (48 pages, in Spanish).
A retelling of the myth of Noah in which Itzá builds an ark and takes on board a pair of every animal. After forty days of sailing, she meets Madú, who has saved very different animals; then an old man from the Arctic and another from the Middle East join them. A defense of diversity and imagination that culminates in an unexpected visit.
Volume 68 of the Children's Nonfiction collection; first edition published in Spain in April 2007.
For early readers aged 5 to 6 and for families wanting a fun and pluralistic approach to the story of the ark.
