«¡No funciona la tele!» is a children's picture book by Glenn McCoy, published by Santillana Educación, S.L. in paperback (40 pages, in Spanish).
Pepa León adores television and even sleeps on the set; she has no friends and thinks she doesn't need them because TV is her best company, while her dog Barriga barely pays her any attention. One morning the television breaks down and Pepa gets so nervous she wants to call the fire department and the Civil Guard. With humor, the story shows that TV should not override other important activities.
It belongs to the Yellow Series Album of Alfaguara Infantil. It is the first children's book written and illustrated by Glenn McCoy.
A story aimed at children; useful for discussing time spent in front of the television and the importance of friendship and other activities.
