Thierry, Éric, and Andreas are three classmates bound by their shared passion for computer games. During a school trip to London, they visit a specialized shop where an old man gives them a mysterious game, warning them it's a 'game from hell'. As the virtual world merges with reality, the boys are plunged into the horrors of past and present conflicts, from the trenches of WWI and the Spanish Civil War to the Bosnian conflict. It is a powerful story about human cruelty, the importance of memory, and the thin line between simulation and reality.
