«Noé, face au déluge» is a children's biblical story by Marie-Thérèse Davidson and Flore Talamon, published by Nathan in paperback (128 pages, in French).
In a world dominated by lies and violence, Noah is the only one who has found favor with God. Obeying his command, he builds a great ark and boards it with his family and a pair of every animal species, while the flood approaches to devastate the Earth. The story recreates the biblical passage and the promise of rebirth after destruction.
Eighth title in «Histoires noires religion», in the series «Histoires de la Bible», with illustrations by Julie Ricossé. Published in 2012.
Aimed at young readers aged 11 and up, it can be used as a school aid to work on the biblical story in the classroom.
