«Nostalgias líricas» is Edith Chahín's poetry collection, published by Ediciones Rilke in paperback (74 pages, in Spanish).
The book gathers poems Edith Chahín composed in her early years in Madrid, while writing radio scripts. In the verses, her desires —expressed in fifteen poems beginning with «Quisiera…»— intertwine with the pain of distance from her mother, siblings, and friends, who remained in Santiago de Chile under the dictatorship.
This is the first edition, published on December 7, 2020. First number of the Ediciones Rilke collection.
For readers seeking intimate poetry about uprootedness, memory, and family separation.
