«Nostradamus Historiador e Profeta» is the historical essay by Jean-Charles de Fontbrune, published by Editorial Presença in paperback (461 pp., in Portuguese).
A journey through Nostradamus's prophecies from 1555: Fontbrune applies information-processing techniques to decipher his texts and presents the French seer as historian and prophet. He distinguishes between prophecies already fulfilled and those still to come, and underlines Portugal's role as the starting point of these visions.
The 1994 Portuguese edition translates the 1980 French original «Nostradamus: historien et prophete».
For those interested in prophecies, esotericism and the figure of Nostradamus, as well as Portugal's role in his visions.
