Synopsis of Nostromo: Relato del litoral

Considered by some critics as the great English novel of the 19th century, Joseph Conrad's 'Nostromo' is a thrilling story that intertwines politics with human emotions and characters. The novel narrates the birth of the state of Sulaco in the imaginary Costaguana, showing the risks of audacity both in individual action and in the intellectual sphere.
