«NW London» is the contemporary novel by Zadie Smith, published by Salamandra in paperback (384 pages, in Spanish).
Leah, Natalie, Felix and Nathan grew up in northwest London and, now in their thirties, ambition and chance have taken them to very different social positions. Their encounters reveal tensions of race, class and social mobility, as well as motherhood, friendship and loyalty, in a portrait of an area of the city as captivating as it is violent.
The English original, NW, was published in 2012; this Spanish edition, translated by Javier Calvo, was published in 2013 in the Salamandra Narrativa collection.
For readers of contemporary fiction seeking urban and social portraits with interwoven characters.
