The Omar witch clans have been hiding from the bloodthirsty Odish for centuries, waiting for the one chosen by the prophecy. Anaíd, a fourteen-year-old teenager living in a Pyrenean village, is unaware of her family's secrets; when her mother, Selene, disappears, she uncovers a terrifying truth and embarks on a dangerous journey.
First installment of the saga «A guerra das bruxas», published in 2008; translation by Pilar Saborido Otero of the original Spanish «El clan de la loba».
Aimed at young readers and fantasy enthusiasts; the plot of witches and prophecies, with a teenage protagonist, connects with the young adult genre.
