«O debut de Martino Porconi» is the children's music-tale by Xosé A. Neira Cruz, published by Editorial Galaxia in hardcover with CD (40 pages, in Galician).
This music-tale fuses illustrated story and CD: it recreates the tale of the three little pigs with the wolf turned tenor and the smallest pig devoted to bel canto. The narrative draws on the traditional tale and is supported by works by Shostakovich and Britten performed by the Real Filharmonía de Galicia.
First title in the Musicontos collection, published in 2008, with illustrations by Federico Fernández and CD narrated by Francisco M. Barreiro.
Aimed at children and young audiences, and at anyone wishing to enjoy a classic tale in Galician accompanied by music.
