«O lapis de Rosalía» is a children's book by Antón Cortizas and Margarita Menéndez Gutiérrez, published by Ediciones SM in paperback (64 pages, in Galician).
Rosalía, aged six, begins to learn to write at school. Her father gives her a very special pencil, a disobedient pencil that writes what it wants, not what the teacher dictates, so the girl gets more than one scolding. When it is discovered that the pencil is to blame, all her classmates want to write and draw with it.
Ninth volume in the El Barco de Vapor Blanca collection.
For early readers aged 6 to 7 who are beginning to read in Galician.
