«O Olho do Lobo» is the young adult novel by Daniel Pennac, illustrated by Jacques Ferrandez, published by Terramar in paperback (156 pages, in Portuguese).
In a zoo cage, a one-eyed wolf and a boy meet. Through the wolf's eye parade the Great North, adventure and the flight from men; through the boy's eyes, the burning grass, the dromedary and the leopard. From the crossing of their gazes is born a story about memory and freedom.
Work originally published in French in 1984 under the title L'Œil du loup. This Portuguese edition was recommended by the Plano Nacional de Leitura for the 5th grade.
A suitable read for young people, both in the classroom and at home with an adult.
