«O soño sulagado» is the poetry collection by Celso Emilio Ferreiro, published by Xerais in paperback (112 pages, in Galician).
O soño sulagado, Celso Emilio Ferreiro's second poetry collection published in Galician in 1954, already contains the keys to the author's best poetry: the memory of childhood, the maternal home, the lost paradise evoked in the trees, the land and the blue of the horizons, along with the longing for freedom and the desire to transform a hostile present.
Celso Emilio Ferreiro (Celanova, 1912-Vigo, 1979) is a reference of Galician social realism; the edition by Ramiro Fonte belongs to the collection Edición Literaria - Biblioteca das Letras Galegas.
A title for readers of Galician poetry and for those approaching twentieth-century Galician literature.
Celso Emilio Ferreiro Míguez (1912–1979) was a Galicianist activist, writer, poet, and political journalist.
