«O tempo nas palavras» is the collection of chronicles by António Alçada Baptista, published by Editorial Presença in paperback (334 pages, in Portuguese).
The book brings together the chronicles that António Alçada Baptista published in the newspaper A Capital between March 1972 and April 1974. In them he refines an undramatized, natural and ironic style, and leaves a critical testimony of the Portugal without freedom that led to the Carnation Revolution.
It belongs to the Grandes Narrativas series, no. 115. The Editorial Presença edition is revised and expanded compared to the one previously published by Morais.
For readers interested in contemporary Portuguese literature and in the testimony of the years before the Carnation Revolution.
