«Ocios de mi juventud» is José de Cadalso's poetic work, published in 2013 by Cátedra in paperback (421 pages, in Spanish).
Cadalso conceived his poetry as a single book and left instructions for future editions. This edition restores the title he wanted to give to all his verses and recovers that deliberate structure, so that for the first time in the modern era the reader finds the whole as its author conceived it.
The edition is edited by Miguel Ángel Lama, and the volume belongs to the Letras Hispánicas collection from Cátedra.
An academic edition for readers and scholars of eighteenth-century Spanish poetry, as well as for those approaching Cadalso's lyrical work.
Colonel of the Royal Spanish Army, author, poet, playwright and essayist
