«Odio llegir!» is Rita Marshall's children's book, published in 1995 (32 pages, in Catalan).
The book starts from the central idea of its title: a character voices their hatred of reading, but discovers that books can be fun and valuable. It thus addresses, with a humorous and warm tone, children's relationship with reading and how it can stop being an obligation and become a pleasure.
For children and young people, especially those who resist reading and need to see the playful side of books.
Rita Marshall (1934–2008) was a journalist who became the first woman home news editor for The Times
