«Odissea» is the prose adaptation of Omero's epic for young readers, published by Mondadori in paperback (93 pages, in Italian).
The book narrates Odysseus's return to Ithaca after the Trojan War. To make the Homeric poem more accessible, this version condenses some cantos but preserves the thread of events and the essential scenes of the classic tale.
Volume 16 of the «Mitologia» collection by Mondadori (1996), with illustrations by S. Rizzato.
Aimed at readers aged 8 to 11 who want a first approach to the classics.
