Thirteen-year-old Oksa Pollock discovers she has special powers. When she tells her grandmother what is happening, the secret of her family's origins and the incredible mission that awaits her, despite her young age, is revealed to her! The Pollock family comes from Edéfia, an invisible and magical world hidden somewhere on planet Earth, which was the scene of a violent battle. Some of the inhabitants came to live among humans, including Ocious, who is extremely ambitious and wants to become the lord of Edéfia and the rest of the world. And it is on Oksa's young shoulders that the responsibility of saving her people now falls. She is their last hope...
Anne Plichota is a French children's author. With her fellow Strasbourg librarian Cendrine Wolf she co-authored Oksa Pollock (2007-2013), a French fantasy series, and a second more "gothic" trilogy Susan Hopper.
