«Olentzero Liburua» is a children's storybook by Seve Calleja, published by Editorial Ibaizabal in hardcover (130 pages, in Basque).
Many know the story of Olentzero, the Christmas character of Basque tradition, but few have heard the tales he himself tells. Olentzero Liburua brings together those stories, focused on caring for nature and helping those in need, within Basque cultural tradition.
Olentzero Liburua, published in 2005, belongs to the Olentzero Bilduma collection and includes illustrations by Iván Oneka.
It is recommended for children aged 5 and up, early readers, and those who want to approach Basque traditions through these stories.
