«One Hit Wonderland» is Tony Hawks's autobiographical tale of humor and travel, published by Ebury Press in paperback (336 pages, in English).
In 1988 Tony Hawks reached the top 10 with «Stutter Rap» as Morris Minor and the Majors. Years later, accused of being a one-hit wonder, he accepts the challenge of scoring another hit anywhere. For two years he switches styles between Nashville, Eastern Europe and Africa, until he and Norman Wisdom try to storm the Albanian charts.
Tony Hawks is a British comedian, musician and writer, author of the equally humorous «Round Ireland with a Fridge».
Recommended for those who enjoy British humor, travel memoirs and absurd stories.
Antony Gordon Hawksworth MBE, known professionally as Tony Hawks, is a British comedian and author.
