«Oops! Says Olly Bear» is the children's picture book by Tony Kenyon, published by Dolphin Paperbacks in paperback (32 pages, in English).
Olly Bear can't get to sleep: he fidgets, falls out of bed, climbs back in, goes to the bathroom, asks for milk and goes down to the kitchen. His parents wake up to mysterious bumps, but when they go up to check on him, they find him fast asleep. The soft crayon illustrations and muted night colors accompany a text with gentle humor and repetition.
«Oops! Says Olly Bear» was published in August 2001 and belongs to children's bedtime fiction.
For those looking for bedtime stories: gentle humor, repetition and a bear protagonist that little ones can relate to.
