On July 20, 1944, the young Wehrmacht colonel, Claus von Stauffenberg, together with his companions, tired of Hitler's crimes and the losses that Germany suffered from his megalomania, carry out an attack with the aim of assassinating the Führer. However, Hitler miraculously survives the attack. Stauffenberg, unaware of the failure, goes to Berlin to carry out a coup, but the operation ends in disaster and its participants are shot or forced to commit suicide.
Tobias Kniebe meticulously reconstructs the attack that sought to save Germany from itself. 'Operation Valkyrie' offers a rigorous look at the events of July 20, 1944, a day that could have changed history.
