«Os Doutores, a Salvação e o Menino Jesus» is the story by Luiz Pacheco, published by Oficina do Livro in paperback (80 pages, in Portuguese).
The twelve-year-old child Jesus runs away from home, tired of injustice, and confronts the «Doutores», an academy that discusses trivial matters, demanding civic responsibility and criticism from them. The crowd acclaims his speech, but the Authority disperses the protest and the child ends up arrested.
Published in 2002, it appears in the records with the subtitle «conto de natal».
For readers of Portuguese literature and short narrative with a satirical and protest background.
