«Oscar, tome 4: Le Roi des bobards» is the humorous comic by Denis Lapière and Christian Durieux, published by Dupuis in paperback (48 pages, in French).
Six short stories about Oscar, a homeless man nicknamed «the king of lies», with absurd family ties: grandson of a billionaire, son of the man who put a clay giant to sleep thanks to knights and frogs, or brother of a checkers champion. The tone is poetic and surreal, with characters such as the two-colored mother and the good genie of thieves.
Fourth album in the «Oscar» series, originally published in 2004.
Album suitable for child and young readers seeking delirious and impertinent humor.
