Synopsis of Óscar y el odio

«Óscar y el odio» is a children's story by Violeta Monreal Díaz, published by Editorial San Pablo in paperback (36 pages, in Spanish).

Óscar feels hatred towards wolves and adores his little dog Osvaldo, but the puppy gets lost in the forest. In a story that mixes reality and fantasy, the boy must face that emotion with the help of the filins, beings that embody feelings, and thus better understand his reactions and those of others.

Published in 2016, it is part of the Sentimientos y valores collection, a series of 27 stories in which each title addresses a feeling and its opposite. Violeta Monreal is also the illustrator.

The book is intended for children aged 6 to 10 and can be used as a tool for emotional education at home or in the classroom.
