«Palabras envoltas en cancións» is a book of poems by Antonio García Teijeiro, published by Editorial Galaxia in paperback (96 pages, in Galician).
Antonio García Teijeiro draws inspiration from the lyrics of twenty songs by bands such as the Rolling Stones, The Doors, Oasis and Queen and artists such as Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, Lou Reed, Alanis Morissette and David Bowie to create a space where music and literature meet and the lyrics of each song become poetry.
It belongs to the Sete Mares collection, with illustrations by Xosé Cobas; first edition published in April 2000.
Aimed at children and young adult readers, with a playful approach that combines music and literature.
