«Partie sans dire adieu» is Ann Rule's true crime chronicle, published by Michel Lafon in paperback (240 pages, in French).
Ann Rule reconstructs the death of Jennifer Corbin, found in December 2004 with a gunshot wound to the head and a revolver at her side; police closed the case as suicide. Drawing on interviews and forensic evidence, and on the memory of another death years earlier, Ann Rule dismantles appearances and reveals a hidden truth.
The original, Too Late to Say Goodbye: A True Story of Murder and Betrayal, appeared in 2007; the French edition is from 2008 and the translation is by Joëlle Touati.
For true crime readers who appreciate detailed reconstruction of real cases and work with forensic evidence.
