«Passió per Catalunya» is an essay by Jordi Pujol, published by Columna in paperback (212 pages, in Catalan).
Jordi Pujol brings together lectures on Catalonia's challenges in the 21st century: politics at the service of people, more resources for the welfare society, without recovering part of Catalonia's fiscal contribution to the state as a whole. He proposes a framework of competences to exercise Catalan identity more clearly.
The work belongs to the Col·lecció Assaig collection; the lectures it brings together were delivered between 1998 and 1999.
For readers interested in political essays and the debate on Catalonia's self-government.
Jordi Pujol i Soley is a retired Catalan politician who was the leader of the party Convergència Democràtica de Catalunya (CDC) from 1974 to 2003, and President of the Generalitat de Catalunya from 1980 to 2003.
