«Pell d'armadillo» is Jordi Puntí's collection of short stories, published by Columna, Planeta in hardcover (in Catalan).
The armadillo, a hard-shelled animal that seems fierce without being so, gives its name to these stories about ordinary people on the brink of crisis or unexpected change. With laconic sentences and subtle humor, Puntí portrays the thin line between normality and madness, leaving the reader to resolve each conflict.
Jordi Puntí's first book, published in 1999 and originally written in Catalan.
For readers of contemporary fiction and short narrative in Catalan who appreciate literary storytelling with irony and everyday characters.
